How your details are handled

Last updated 21 September 2026. This page describes the front page's contact form. It is written plainly rather than legally, and it describes what the software actually does.

What is collected, and only when you send the form

• Your name, and your company if you gave one.
• Your email address, and your phone number if you gave one.
• What you wrote in the message.
• The IP address and browser the form was sent from, kept to tell a person from a script. Nothing else about your visit is recorded.

What happens to it

It is stored in BracenBuild's own database so the enquiry can be answered, and emailed to brett@bracenbuild.com through Resend, the mail provider. The email is sent so that replying to it reaches you.

It is not sold, not shared with anybody else, and not used for a mailing list. You will get a reply from a person and nothing you did not ask for.

What this page does not do

There is no analytics, no tag manager, no advertising pixel and no third-party script of any kind on the front page. It sets no cookies. That is why there is no cookie banner: there is nothing to consent to.

The application at app.bracenbuild.com is a different matter — it is a signed-in product and it sets one session cookie, which is what keeps you signed in. It is described where you sign in, not here.

Keeping it, and getting rid of it

Enquiries are deleted automatically after ninety days. Not "archived" and not "retained for business purposes" — the row is removed by the software itself. An enquiry nobody answered in three months is not a lead, and keeping your name and telephone number on the off-chance is the thing this page says it does not do.

Sooner, if you want: email brett@bracenbuild.com and say so, and you can ask for a copy of what was stored at the same time.
